Wedding Wednesday 4: Wedding Dress Try on Part 2

I'm back with another Wedding Wednesday post! I went to 2 places last week and found some really great options! I'm sharing some dresses in today's post that I tried on (and loved) but they're not the one for my big day! All of the dresses shown in this post are from The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton, CT! It was such a cute shop and Mariah (who I worked with) was lovely!

This dress was BEAUTIFUL! I loved the detail of it and I loved the material. I also loved how it had pockets. In the end, this one wasn't quite what I was looking for. This was a Jenny Yoo dress.

I LOVED the back of this one! I really do seem to love a bow :-). This one was a bit too form fitting for me - I really don't like being able to see the outline of my belly button lol.

Another dress with a GREAT back! I also really did like the high neckline of this one. But again, it wasn't quite what I was looking for!

This one was very pretty but definitely not what I picture myself in. I don't love the mesh detail for me and the dress was a bit itchy due to the beading.

Another dress with a gorgeous bow in the back! In the end, I didn't love how the bow wasn't straight and I didn't love the front of the dress either.

This was another really pretty dress! I didn't love how deep the V was in the front, though.

This dress had really pretty lace detailing! I loved that part of it but I didn't love the front of the dress. The straps were a little too thick for my liking.

Wedding Planning Update

It has been SO fun trying dresses on! I never thought that it would be such a tough decision for me though. I am so glad to have talked to a lot of you who said you never had that feeling that the dress you chose was THE DRESS. I feel like I won't have that feeling because I just love so many of them lol. I'm headed back to one place today that has my top 3 choices. Today might be the day that I say yes to the dress!!! I will obviously keep you guys posted :-).

As for a planning update - I have the DJ booked and I have the videographer booked. I also got a reference for a great photographer this weekend that I've been in contact with. I want to book my photographer relatively soon so we can do engagement photos with the fall foliage. I plan on using one of our engagement photos and ordering save the dates from Minted.

I reached out to the florist we want to use and he says he doesn't start booking 2023 weddings until January so I'm going to reach back out then. I think once I have the photographer booked, I'll be pretty set for a while!

I hope you guys are enjoying my wedding planning updates. It's been such a fun journey so far and it's only the beginning!!
