4th of July Outfit Idea + Lash Extensions FAQ

Hi everyone! Happy Weekend! I don't know about you but I've never been more happy that it's the weekend. Although, I feel like I say that every weekend LOL. Today I'm sharing a look at my new faaaavorite gingham dress. It seriously screams SUMMER and it's a great option for what to wear on the 4th of July. I know, crazzzzy to think that we need to already be thinking about what to wear for July 4th!

Dress || Wedges || Necklace || Earrings

OK so like I said, this dress screams summer! I love how it's gingham and how it ties at the shoulders! I'm wearing it in a size 2 (my usual size) and I feel like I could've gotten away with a 0. I would have liked for the chest area to have fit a little more snug BUT that being said, I like that it's spacious and that there's room for me to move in it!

I decided to wear this dress with the MOST COMFORTABLE wedges and I loved how it looked! On a day to day basis I'd probably wear it with my Jack Rogers or these sandals! I think it would also look really cute with this white jean jacket. I think this whole outfit would be a great option for 4th of July but I think that these earrings really are the icing on the cake. The pop of red with the light blue gingham is such a cute combo!

Ok so now I thought I'd take the time to answer a bunch of questions that I've gotten about my lash extensions recently. SO here we go.

Lash Extensions FAQ:

Q: Where do you get your lash extensions done?

A: I go to Nash's Lashes in Westport. They do an awesome job!

Q: What do you ask for when you go?

A: I first asked for something between dramatic and natural. There have been times where I've gone and I've asked for them to do it a little less dramatic than the time before, or a little more dramatic. They're good about giving you what you want. Mine are not very natural looking but I've seen people with very natural looking ones.

Q: Do they ruin your real lashes?

A: This is going to be different for everyone. I have not noticed any damage to my regular lashes since getting lash extensions. I have gotten them previously too and have not seen any damage!

Q: How much do they cost?

A: Again, this is going to vary from place to place. I paid around $160 (or $180, I forget) for my first set of lashes. This was a full set of individual MINK lashes. This also included an extra foot massage. They offer a foot massage with every lash fill and then you have the option to pay extra for an additional massage. Of course, me being me, I always say yes to extra time so my price is a bit higher. Each month when I go, I now pay around $130. Again, this is with an extra 20 minute massage. If you don't choose to get the extra massage, it would be around $110 for a fill.

Q: How long does it take to get lash extensions done?

A: The firs time that I got these extensions put on it took an hour and a half. Crazy, I know! But since then, it can take less than an hour but it usually takes around an hour. I typically listen to an audiobook during this time! It's pretty relaxing and I'll admit, I've fallen asleep a few times! Lol.

Ok I think I've answered most of your questions! If you have any other questions regarding lash extensions (or anything for that matter!) don't hesitate to reach out! I hope you all have the best weekend!
