My Favorite Casual Yellow Skirt

 

Hello everyone!

Today I received many compliments on my outfit. I wanted to wear this casual yellow skirt (which is pretty bright, I must say!) but I wasn’t quite sure what type of shirt to pair it with. After trying multiple different color combos (white, navy, black) I ended up wearing this light blue shirt. Let me tell you—the bright yellow and light blue looked pretty good together! I was proud of myself for putting this outfit together. I was excited to find this skirt at the J.Crew Factory store for such a great price. This skirt has become one of my favorite things to wear. Another great thing about the skirt is that it is soo comfortable. You know how some skirts can feel thick and too tight?? That isn’t this one. I also bought the skirt in a bright pink! They are perfect for summer.Another great thing about the skirt is that it can be dressed up and it can be dressed down. Today I opted with a more casual outfit seeing as I was only wearing it to work. But if I wanted to go for a fancier look I definitely would have paired it with a dressier shirt and pair of heels or wedges. I ended up wearing my FAVORITE Tory Burch sandals. Which I must say are super comfy and SO durable—I totally recommend!! To top this outfit off, I paired it with a silver/tan sweater also from J.Crew (can you tell where my favorite place to shop is??) It’s a lightweight v-neck cardigan so it is perfect for summer! It comes in a gold color as well.
