Delicious Hash Brown Casserole Recipe

HAPPY SATURDAY!! Thank you guys so much for your feedback about the hash brown casserole recipe!! So many of you requested the recipe so I thought it would be easy to put it on my blog for you guys to come back to! I saved the video on my IG highlights if you wanted to watch me make it again!

But anyway - let's get into the recipe!! *Be sure to tag me on IG if you make this recipe!!*

What you'll need:

1 Package of Shredded Potatoes (cubed potatoes would work too, I want to try them next!!) - 20 oz.

1 can of cream of chicken soup (10.75 ounces)

2 cups of shredded cheese

3/4 of reduced fat sour cream (you can use regular sour cream, I just chose reduced fat!)

1/4 cup of butter, melted

Onion Powder (the original recipe calls for 1/4 cup of chopped onions but I don't like onions so I substitute e with onion powder!)

1 1/2 cups of corn flakes, crushed

2 tablespoons of butter, melted

What to do:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then be sure to spray whichever baking dish you plan on using. Since mine was for a staff breakfast, I used one that was disposable!

Put your hash browns into a big bowl. I used frozen ones so I let them thaw out a bit before adding the rest of the ingredients.

Next, add the cream of chicken soup to the hash browns.

After that, add the cheese.

Then add the sour cream, onion powder, and melted butter. Mix it all up! I used my hands while wearing gloves but feel free to use whatever you'd like to mix all of the ingredients.

After mixing it all up, add it to the baking dish that you have already prepared.

Next, put your corn flakes into a bag and finely crush them. These will be for your topping. You will also need to melt your 2 tablespoons of butter and pour the butter in with the cornflakes. Once they're mixed together, sprinkle the mixture on top of the hash browns. Make sure to spread it out and cover the hash browns evenly!

I cooked mine for just over an hour! When it is done, serve and enjoy!

If there's any leftover, save them! They make really yummy leftovers :-)

I hope you enjoyed this post! Definitely let me know if you're a fan of me sharing recipes!

Thanks for reading!
