HELLO 2021!
We all can probably agree that 2020 was a year that no one expected. It was a tough year that handed us so many challenges that we had to overcome. While it was a rough year, it was also a year of growth for me.
I started my own online boutique, Styled by Lauren Rose, which has been a goal/dream of mine for years. I'm still very much learning how to navigate owning my own boutique, so I truly appreciate all of your patience with me along the way. I would not be able to do any of this without any of you!
I also bought my own house this past summer!! This is a huge accomplishment for me and I am SO happy with the decision. I love the house that I ended up in and it's really starting to come together and feel like HOME. If you want to check out all of my house hunting videos, you can do that here!
I started my journey with Young Living this year, too. I've talked about this before - I am getting older and want to really take care of my body. I have become more aware now than ever of what I'm putting in my body and on my body. I also switched out all of my harsh cleaning products to use only thieves products and I am so happy with the change.
I also had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands this year - I signed a year long partnership with Riley Volvo and that is one of my best accomplishments. I also worked with some of my favorite brands like Colleen Rothschild, Nordstrom, and more! Again, I owe all of this to you!!
Looking back on 2020, so many things happened that impacted my life - we lost my Grandma to COVID in April which was devastating. We did not get to see her or say goodbye to her and thinking of her suffering while being alone was so tough. We are thankful for the nurses and doctors who were there to hopefully comfort her during that time.
For those of you that don't know, Nick (my boyfriend of 3 years) and I broke up this year too. It has been tough getting used to being alone and not having someone, but I know I can do it and become even stronger during this time alone. I appreciate all of your kind words about the breakup and I appreciate you respecting me/him and not asking for all of the details. I will share more IF the time ever comes where I feel ready to do so. I am so thankful to be able to surround myself with family and friends who I love and who love me.
I am hopeful that 2021 will continue to be a year of growth. I am choosing to believe that it will be a GREAT year. I feel that if I go in to the year believing this, it's more likely to happen. As much as I'd love to believe that I'm in control, I know that there's a greater plan for my life. I am a firm believer in whatever's meant to be, will be. I remind myself of this daily. I will continue to work my a** off to accomplish all of my goals. One thing will remain true for 2021 - I will continue to be true to myself and never stop dreaming and setting goals. I hope by doing this, it can inspire or motivate some of you to do the same. If you have a dream, don't give up on it. We only live one life and it's too short. Don't take any moment for granted.
