Hosting a Bridal Shower and Bachelorette

Hosting a Bridal Shower and a Bachelorette

Hi everyone! In today's post I am talking about hosting a bridal shower and a bachelorette! Enjoy!

My sister is getting married this August and I am lucky to be her Maid of Honor! This being said, I have a few responsibilities related to the wedding. Two of these responsibilities include hosting a bridal shower and a bachelorette in honor of my sister! I am so thankful that my mother and her friend Sue were full of amazing ideas for her Bridal Shower. I would be lost without them! Not to mention, my mom paid for all of it (phew!) As for the bachelorette, we had such a fun group of girls with us that night, and I am thankful for the help from all of them! My sister is one lucky girl to have such great bridesmaids and great friends!OK now let's get to the fun stuff! All of the details!

Bridal Shower

On the napkins, I got their hashtag (#beansandcheese) written on them. They were super cute and people loved them! As for the flowers, We got them from our local whole foods. My sister loves hydrangeas so we got a bunch of those and we got peonies too. We were SO happy with the service at Whole Foods. We provided them with all of the mason jars, which we purchased at Michael's, and they put all of the flower arrangements together for us! It was so affordable and so well done - we will definitely be using them again in the future!I wanted to make the shower fun for the guests so I decided to invest in a few bridal shower games. My sister loves games so it was perfect for her shower. We got great feedback about the games so I am definitely glad we played them! We played Bridal Bingo, when she opened her gifts everyone would cross off an item that they had on their bing board. We also played a few other cute games that you can find here! As for other decorations, we got an inflatable BRIDE balloon which was super cute for pictures! We also got a Bride-To-Be banner which people loved as well. We decided to keep it simple and cute! My sister is definitely an easy going bride so this shower was easy to plan.Hosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteBride To Be Banner // Bride BalloonNow for desserts! YUMMY! We got all of our desserts from Peter's Weston Market and let me tell ya, they were AMAZING. We worked with Bonnie and she was incredible accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend using her and Peter's Market for any of your dessert needs. They are amazing at what they do and their customer service is even more amazing! And can we talk about how AMAZING they all looked?!Hosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteCupcake Toppers // Peter's Weston MarketWe had such a fun time at my sister's shower. They turned out super cute (as you can see below!). She designed custom koozies that everyone LOVED! And she got the cutest little votive candles with anchors on them. We also gave out cookies to each person with their hashtag (#beansandcheese) on them! The cookies were DELICIOUS and again from Peter's Market.Hosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteHosting a bridal shower and bachelorettePersonalized Koozies

The Bachelorette

We had a very low key and fun day for my sister's bachelorette party! We stayed at our house and hung out by the pool. We got drinks at Bar Taco and had dinner at Colony Pizza. After that, we went to a rooftop bar and finished off the night downtown! It was a great day and night overall! Not to mention, the next day we had brunch! Too yummy. My sister and I wanted to get gifts for all of the girls coming to her bachelorette party. We decided on the cutest wine tumblers. We got them monogrammed for each girl and filled them with little goodies. They turned out super cute. My cousin also brought these super cute cups for each of the girls that said "I Do Crew."Hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette Hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette Hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette Hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette Hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette hosting a bridal shower and bacheloretteBridesmaid Wine Tumblers // I Do Crew Cups // Essie Nail Polish // Mini Wet BrushOverall we have had so much fun planning these events.
