Midweek Update
My Midweek Update!
Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a great week so far! I wanted to check in with you all and keep you updated on my week so far.
Monday
My Monday morning started out in this outfit (sweater & shorts both from JCrew) which was perfect for running some errands. It was nice having Monday off from class and work because I needed a day to get some stuff done. After returning home I received my brand new Stella & Dot beach tunic in the mail. I obviously had to test it out right away! (pictured below) I love the colors and it truly is perfect for a day by the pool or a day at the beach! My Monday was a pretty low-key day which I definitely needed after a long weekend at work!
Tuesday
So I woke up Tuesday morning to clouds & a little bit of rain. In an attempt to brighten the day, I wore this colorful floral tank that I got from JCrew Factory last summer. I love this tank because you can dress it up or you can dress it down with a pair of jeans and sandals. Unfortunately, the rain continued to come down all day! Tuesday's are generally a busy day for me--I have class from 1-4 PM and then right after that from 4:30-7:10 PM. Yesterday was a little different though. We showed up to class, however, our professor did not! We got dismissed from our first class of the semester, and boy I was not complaining! I went home after class and had my July Birchbox waiting for me at home! That was certainly a nice surprise! Check out yesterday's post to find out what I received in my Birchbox yesterday! Unfortunately I still had my 4:30 class yesterday, but our professor let us out around 5:45! I ended off my Tuesday night hanging with my family and went to bed pretty early knowing I had to be at work the next day at 8 AM.
Wednesday
Today I had to be at work at 8 AM which is pretty early for me. I knew that I wanted to wear something comfortable since I'd be there for about 6 hours. I decided on my favorite white jeans and this pretty button down. I feel like I've been living in these Michael Kors sandals all summer, and that's because they're so comfy! Work went well today and I did a little shopping afterward, which always makes a day better, right? And when I got home I had a wonderful package waiting for me--my new Kendra Scott ring (pictured below)! I must say I'm already obsessed with it!! Now I'm at home doing some homework (sort of...) and I'm going to end my night tonight having dinner with my family. I have another long day tomorrow (work 8:00-12:30, class 1-4, and another class 4:30-7:10) so I'm sure I'll be getting to bed early tonight!
