NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2018: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Hi friends! I can't believe the time has already come to start talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It's just about two weeks away and I couldn't be more excited for it! I'll be honest though, before I started blogging, I had NO IDEA what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was or that it even existed! Crazy, right? That's why I wanted to take the time today to sit down and write this post for you to fill you in on what it is, what you need to know, and what you should be buying from this amazing sale. So grab a drink (coffee, wine, anything you'd like!), sit back and get ready to read about the best sale EVER.

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?First things first, what the heck is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? It's a sale that has brand new merchandise marked down to unreal prices. We're talking brand new Tory Burch boots, Stuart Weitzman shoes, Kate Spade bags, so many great makeup products and more marked down to ridiculously good prices. The sale will include BRAND NEW Fall styles that will be marked down for a limited time. Price will go back up August 6th.

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?Ok so this is crucial. I've learned this the hard way in the past - things sell out FAST. I kid you not, amazing things will sell out on day one. And the key to being able to purchase on day one is having a Nordstrom Debit Card or Credit Card. Nordstrom card holders are the only ones who can shop this sale from July 12-19. If you don't have a Nordstrom Card yet, I HIGHLY suggest applying for one ASAP so that you can be one of the first to shop the sale early.

The sale opens to the public on July 20th and prices will go back up on August 6th. Here's a look at the timeline for the sale:

How Can I Shop the Sale?

Another great question. You can shop the sale online or in store. I plan on doing both. I want to be able to try on all of the things you guys want to see and keep you updated on what's worth buying and what's not worth buying. I'll also be sharing a lot of sale finds on my Instagram and Instagram Stories so be sure to follow along on there all throughout the sale. I will also have a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tab on my blog that I will keep updated as well. I promise to try to make this sale as easy as possible for you to shop. I know how overwhelming it can be and it's my job to make it the best shopping experience for you!

What Should I Buy?

If you haven't already heard, the Anniversary Sale Catalog has been released! I'd start by looking through there and making note of certain things that catch your eye. I must say though, there will be SO MUCH more included in the sale that has not been included in the catalog. If you're underwhelmed by the catalog, don't let that fool you. There will be other great things to snag during the sale. They're usually marked down by almost $200!This Leith Cardigan was a best seller all around. It comes in multiple colors. I'm sure something like this will be released in the sale this year and let me tell ya, it's a must have! Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: What You Need to Know Two other great sweater options! These booties are still a favorite of mine, too!I'd been eyeing this jacket for a while and finally was able to pull the trigger on it during the sale! It's such a good one!The MOST COMFORTABLE cardigan EVER. And these sneakers are EVERYTHING. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: What You Need to Know Hands down my FAVORITE purchase from the sale.
