Hi everyone!!! It's almost that time of year again - time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - AKA the best sale EVER. Last year was my first year shopping the sale and let me tell ya, it was amazingggg! I bought SO many Fall and Winter staples that I wore consistently throughout the past year. OK so let's get into what this sale is all about.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Each year Nordstrom holds their Anniversary Sale and SO many great Fall and Winter items are marked down to amazing prices. It's my favorite sale every because it's all BRAND NEW merchandise that's on sale! It's the best time to prepare for the upcoming Fall and Winter months!
When Can I Shop the Sale?
The start of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is quickly approaching! If you are a Nordstrom Cardholder, you have Early Access starting on July 13th!!That's just 3 days away! If you're a cardholder I encourage you to shop the sale ASAP because all of the best items sell out SO FAST. You can apply for a Nordstrom debit or credit card here!
HOW Should I Shop the Sale?
OK personally this sale gives me a little bit of anxiety because I want to buy all the best stuff before it sells out! Here are some tips for shopping the sale:
Go back through your closet and look at all of the Fall and Winter items that you already own. It's important to figure out what you NEED in your wardrobe. Think about work clothes, shoes, athletic wear, and even GIFTS. I like to make a list before the sale of what I need/want to buy!
It's also important to figure out which items are going to sell out the quickest. I recommend buying those items first before other people beat you to it! I think it's also a great idea to set a budget for yourself and spend that money on items that you really need. When a great sale like this comes around, it's easy to spend SO much money on stuff you may not actually need.
