Hi everyone! In today's post I am sharing a look at this one shoulder dress AND I am sharing some exciting news!

Dress: Nordstrom || Shoes: Ugg || Anchor Bracelet: KJP || Tassel Bracelet: Bauble Bar || Ring: Bauble Bar || Lip Color: Marc Jacobs "Strawberry Spice"Alright you guys, before you start reading grab a snack (maybe some wine too) because this is a long post!Like I said in my Instagram post earlier today, July 1st is a very special day for me (not just because it's one of my favorite uncle's birthdays!). AS you may already be able to tell from the pictures, Simply Lauren Rose turns ONE today!!! I cannot believe that it has been one year since I decided to start this blog. I am SO thankful for all of YOU who have helped Simply Lauren Rose grow to be what it is today! I am blown away by all of the support I have received from all of you who continually like my photos on Instagram and who have subscribed to my blog via email and religiously read my posts. I am seriously so thankful that you have all helped Simply Lauren Rose grow to be what it is today.I am so lucky to have family and friends who have supported me with this from DAY ONE. I don't know what I would do without my many photographers. My sister has taken the majority of my photos - and I cannot thank her enough! I've even interrupted my mother when she was working to ask her to take a "quick photo of my outfit," but it usually isn't very quick (I'm picky, what can I say??) I started this blog because I love shopping (a little too much) and I love clothes and makeup and all of that fun stuff. I think it's so fun to be able to join a community of people who love it just as much as I do. And not to mention, all of you have given me the most positive feedback - again I cannot thank you enough!If you have thought about starting a blog because you love fashion and clothes like I do, I highly recommend doing it. Yes, it may be A LOT of work, but putting something you absolutely love together with work is what makes it all worth it. I wish I could explain how excited I get when I see great outfits or a great bag, or a new makeup product that came out that I want to try. The best part about all of that is being able to share my ideas and creativity with so many amazing people. I am definitely still a NEW blogger and I am not an expert at it by any means, but if you need ANY help or have any questions, feel free to email me at simplylaurenrose@gmail.com. Ask me ANYTHING and I will create a post featuring your questions and I will try to be as helpful as possible.OK WOW I know this is the longest post I've ever written, but my thanks cannot go unsaid. Simply Lauren Rose would be NOTHING without all of you who have taken the time to comment, like, and read all of my posts! I really hope that my posts are inspiring for you and that I bring some sort of happiness to your life. And I cannot thank my family and friends ENOUGH for the sacrifices they make for me (taking pictures of me while we're rushing to get somewhere, taking time out of their own night to take pictures of an outfit I received in the mail, etc.). Simply Lauren Rose would be nowhere without them either.Now onto the outfit that I chose for this post - when I saw this dress I thought it was perfect for today's post. Wedding season is coming up (I'm actually going to one tomorrow!) and I think this would be a perfect dress to wear to a wedding. I wore it with my usual Ugg wedges, which I've decided I now need in black too because I wear them SO much. Also can I mention that this dress is under $100! A great quality dress for an affordable price, YES PLEASE!Now what's really special about this outfit is my new KJP bracelet. They were SO nice and sent me this gorgeous bracelet. And let me tell ya, this bracelet is right up my alley. It's exactly my style and I am so excited that it's now in my accessories collection. They have SO much great stuff at KJP and I'm honored that they sent me this beautiful bracelet. It's perfect for summer, but can definitely be worn all year long. They have so many different styles too, I highly recommend checking them out!
