What I Eat in a Week (Healthy-ish version!)
Hi everyone! Those of you who follow me on Instagram already know that I'm attempting to eat healthy (or my version of healthy lol) and I wanted to share how this journey is going for me so far and I thought it would be fun to share what I eat in a week!
Let me start by saying - I am a very picky eater and don't like a lot of things. I wish it was different, believe me! I also am a carb lover and would eat candy just about every single day. So my main goals for this change are to cut out the massive amounts of carbs that I'd eat in a day, the sugar that I'd consume daily, and cut back on dairy as well.
Not only am I not feeling great about the way my body looks or feels, I also need to make a change because I've noticed a difference in my skin - for the worse. I'd have some pretty severe acne that was painful and just not cute to look at. I know that part of that was caused by my diet and what I was feeding my body.
Anyway, now that I've said all that - I want to also say that I'm not following a program. I'm simply just trying to put better things in my body and cut out some of the bad stuff I was feeding myself. I am NO expert and by no means and I going to be perfectly successful at this change. I know some of you are going to still question what I'm eating and tell me it's still not healthy, BUT, it's a change for me and it's going to take time to cut out allll of the bad stuff!
But anyway - here's a video I've compiled to share what I ate in a week! My breakfast, lunch, and snack are pretty much the same each day!
Here's a quick run down of what I ate everyday:
Monday-Friday - Start the day with celery juice on an empty stomach (I've heard this is what you're supposed to do! lol), have my coffee with oat milk next, drink my smoothie for lunch (around 12:45) have peanuts or almonds for a snack if necessary!
Dinner was different each day! Two days I had fried cauliflower with veggies! Another day I had roasted chicken with mashed potatoes (had a way smaller portion of potatoes than I normally would! Haha)
Snacks - popcorn, peanuts/almonds, undercover chocolate, protein bar
Hope this was helpful! Again, everyone is different and has different needs! But I thought it would be fun to share my journey of eating "healthy" with you guys!
