What to Pack for a Beach Vacation
As some of you may know already, I recently went on a beach trip with my mom to Fort Myers Beach last month. A lot of you had requested for a post on what to pack for a beach vacation so today I’m sharing exactly what I think you need for your next beach trip!
Whether you’re going away for a weeklong trip or you’re simply spending the day at your nearby beach, there are some things that are absolutely necessary to bring with you. First things first – you need a cute bathing suit and cover up. I wore my FAVORITE cover up while in Florida. I actually brought a few different ones, but this one is the one that I ended up wearing each day. I especially love this one because it has pockets! Even though it’s a long cover up, it was so lightweight that it actually ended up being perfect for the hot Florida temps. I also love this cover up because it does cover up a lot of your body. If you’ve had a little too much sun (like I did! Oops!) then you’re going to want to hide those parts of your body. Like I said before, this cover up has great coverage without making you feel like you’re overheating.
I also believe that a cute bathing suit is necessary for a beach trip. I wore this one while in Florida and I loved it so much. It’s actually super flattering and accentuates parts of your body that you may not have (in other words, it makes you look like you have a chest when you may not!) It’s a great bathing suit because it can be worn so many different ways. I decided to wear it strapless because I didn’t want any tan lines, but you have the option to tie it around your neck or wear it with straps!

Alright now that we’ve got our outfit covered, let’s talk about the other stuff you’ll need for a day at the beach. I had asked you guys what face sunscreen you recommended. A TON of you said that the Supergoop sunscreen was your favorite! I think protecting yourself from the sun is super important. You can’t forget your sunscreen, ladies!
You’ll also need a fun beach bag that you can throw all of your stuff into. This one is SO cute and seriously perfect for all of your beach needs. Ohhh and we can’t forget a beach towel or blanket! See below for everything that comes with me on a beach trip!
