Hi everyone! Welcome to my second midweek recap!
Monday
My Monday started off like most of my days: running errands! It was extremely hot out this past Monday so I wanted to stay cool, but look cute at the same time, of course. I wore these shorts from JCrew. I just love this pattern! I love it so much that I went and bought the matching top! Both the shorts and the top are on sale right now! While I was out, I obviously had to stop and grab Starbucks! I am one of those people who can't really go a day without Starbucks (sad, I know). My go-to drink is a venti non-fat iced vanilla chai! I think I'm addicted. Although, this past weekend my boyfriend's sister convinced me to try it with cinnamon dulce instead of vanilla, and I must say, it was delicious! After I got back from running errands, I wanted to take full advantage of my day off. So I put on my bathing suit and my Sun Bum sunscreen and relaxed by the pool for a few hours. Later on that day, I went to my boyfriend's place to watch True Detective and hang out for a few hours. I wore this dress from JCrew which I am loving this summer! Tuesday
My Tuesday was not nearly as eventful or fun as my Monday was. This is because I spend the majority of my Tuesday's and Thursday's in a classroom. Again my morning started with running errands. I wore my JCrew denim shorts with a Ralph Lauren button down (similar here). I realized that it was still so hot out so when I got home I changed my outfit into something lighter for class. I kept on the shorts and changed into this JCrew tank (on major sale!!). So I sat in class from 1-3:30 and had a little break until my next class. I ate my lunch in my car (how sad, I know) and decided to capitalize on the break to take a photo of my favorite Bauble Bar bracelets (similar here) because I thought they looked good with my shirt! My next class was supposed to go from 4:30-7:10 but we got out at 6:15! Does anyone else love when that happens?? I definitely do. I was excited to get out early because my mom, my sister, and I were going out to dinner with my cousin and aunt to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday! We ate at 1020 Post in Darien, it was delicious! I ordered French Onion Soup and some sort of chicken dish (I forget what it was called!) The mashed potatoes were SO good, and I of course ate like 5 pieces of bread (what can I say, carbs are my weakness!) I wore a maxi dress from JCrew (I got it last year) and my Jack Rogers Sparkle Sandals. It was a fun night celebrating!

Wednesday
Well today has been another uneventful day (except for one thing that I'll mention at the end). I worked today from 10-2, not a bad shift at all! I wore my new cargo pants from JCrew and let me tell ya, they are SOO comfy! I want to wear them everyday from now on! They come in a few colors and I plan on buying the other ones! If you plan on buying them, I suggest buying a size smaller than you usually are. They run a little big! I paired the pants with my chambray shirt from JCrew and my Michael Kors sandals. After work I stopped at Sephora to buy a few skincare items that I am almost out of. I also went to Starbucks (surprise, surprise!) for an afternoon pick me up. Now I am sitting here enjoying my Starbucks and writing this post! Tonight I plan on doing some school work and relaxing. I have a long day ahead tomorrow--work 8:30-12:30, class 1-4, and class again 4:30-7:10.
