UPDATED MAKEUP ROUTINE WINTER 2019

Hi friends!! I shared a sneak peek of my most recent makeup routine on my stories yesterday and so many of you were excited to see my updated routine.

I picked up a bunch of new products at Sephora and Nordstrom the other day and I was so excited to try them out! Let me tell ya, I am already OBSESSED with them!

I'll go in order from how I apply them and go into detail with each product!

Step 1 - Primer

Charlotte Tillbury Wonderglow Primer

I picked up a new primer yesterday because I've heard so many great things about it! The primer I purchased was the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer. This primer appealed to me because you can wear it alone or under your makeup! Since I currently have a tan from vacation, I haven't been wearing much makeup. This primer seems like a great option for those days where you don't want to go all out but you need a little something! So far I reallllly like it!!

Step 2 - Foundation/CC Cream

YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One Glow Tinted Moisturizer || Foundation Brush

I have been looooving the YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One Glow tinted moisturizer! It's so lightweight and actually smells amazing lol. It applies SO easily and smooth. I picked it up in a darker color so that I could continue to wear it after vacation. I'm currently wearing it in the color Amber. I previously wore it in the color Sand. I highly recommend this product. I always apply it with this brush that I've been using for a long time. The combination of the two is amazing!

Step 3 - Concealer/Highlighter

MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter

I switch around what concealer/highlighter I use quite a bit. I'm not a huge fan of the REALLY white undereye - I just can't pull it off while some people look amazing with it! That being said, I typically reach for my MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in the color Light Boost. I like this because it's not too dramatic but it still makes you feel like you look more awake! Some days I'll use the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift. I also love this option too!

Step 4 - Setting Powder

Hourglass Setting Powder || Morphe Brush

I recently switched up my setting powder! I think this is a crucial step in keeping your makeup in place and I feel almost "naked" without it (so silly, i know!). I had religiously been using the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting powder and I LOVE it! The reason that I switched is to try out the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder. I have heard so many great things about this setting powder and I really do like it so far! I'll keep using it consistently and let you guys know if I continue to love it. I also recently bought a set of Jaclyn Hill x Morphe brushes and I used the JH 07 under eye powder brush to set my under eye concealer! I'm really loving her brushes so far!

Step 5 - Bronzer/Contour

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzer || MAC Brush || Hourglass Bronzer

This may be one of my favorite parts of applying my makeup (besides blush!). I also picked up a new bronzing product and I am already OBSESSED you guys. I had heard so many amazing things about the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzer and I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. I figured it'd be a good time to do it when I had a gift card! Yes, this product is pricier, but let me tell ya, a little goes a LONG WAY. I've barely used any of this product so far and I can tell that it's going to last me a while! It applies SO easily and smooth. If you're not a pro at contouring (like me) then this product will help you immensely. I applied it with this MAC brush (also a new purchase that I'm LOVING) and I'm so happy with the way it turned out. To set this cream bronzer I used my regular everyday Hourglass bronzer. I loveee the combination of the two!! Highly, highly recommend.

Step 6 - Blush

NARS Palette

If you know me at all, then you knowww I'm a blush lover. I can't even tell you how much blush I own (too much and SO unnecessary!). Recently I've been reaching for the classic NARS Orgasm blush. I know I love this one and I feel like it will go with just about any look. I have been using it in a palette but it's also sold on it's own. If you're not into makeup much or just getting started, I think this is a great color for you. I also think that it's great if you are a makeup lover! I apply it with my Bobbi Brown blush brush and I love the way it goes on!

Step 7 - Highlighter

Highlighter is a step that I don't apply everyday. When I do feel like applying it or remember to apply it, I either reach for this NARS Orgasm one in the palette shown above or the Charlotte Tillbury highlighter in the Bronze & Glow Palette. I typically just apply highlighter on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. For days that I'm trying to be "extra" or need a bit of an extra wake me up, I will apply highlighter in my inner corner of my eye. Lately I've been using this brush to apply my highlighter!

Step 8 - Brows

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder || Brow Brush

I loveeee me some brows! I have been using the same brow product for a while now so you've probably seen me talk about it before. My go-to prdocut is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder. I use it in the color "Ebony."

Step 10 - Lips

YSL Plumping Lip Balm

I don't always use a lip product but I saw this YSL one at Nordstrom and I was intrigued by it. It's supposed to be a lip plumping product but I can't say that my lips got too plump after lol. That being said, I still really liked the product! It's a light color, and very natural looking. I got it in the color "Mad Nude." Ok before I finish up, I have to share my ALL TIME FAVORITE lip product that I'll use all the time - the Dior Addict Lip Glow. It's amazing and actually hydrates and smooths your lips. I wear it in the color "001 Pink Glow" and its super natural looking!

Step 11 - Setting Spray

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Just like I'm a firm believer in setting powder, I'm also a firm believer in setting spray. I truly believe that it helps keep your makeup in place and it helps make it look natural and cohesive. My all time favorite setting spray is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This stuff is amazing. I have it in the travel size too and bring it with me everywhere!

Alright I think that pretty much covers everything! I'm sure I've forgotten some detail but I will leave all products (and brushes that I may not have mentioned!) in the "shop the post" section below! I hope this post is helpful!!

Here's a quick little video that I took on my IG stories that will be uploaded tomorrow!
