WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL MAKEUP BAG!
happy friday everyone! nick and i are off to Salem and Marblehead this weekend. neither of us have been to either spot so we're super excited to check out a new area!
anyway, i thought this would be a great chance for me to share what i typically pack in my travel makeup bag for a weekend getaway. keep in mind, this is short trip that doesn't require flying, so the contents in my travel makeup bag would likely be a bit different for a longer trip!
alright let's get right on into it!
ok so this makeup bag was an amazon find and i'm sure that you've seen it all over instagram by now! i like it because it's sturdy and i like how you can customize the compartments to how you want them to be. the inserts are removable which is nice! this will be my first trip using this makeup bag so i'll be sure to report back how i like it! it also came with a bunch of brushes and a makeup sponge but i haven't tried those out yet!
charlotte tilbury healthy glow || beauty blender || YSL all in one glow || tarte concealer
ok these are my MUST HAVE face products that i will be bringing with me. you guys know my love for this tinted moisturizer and i'm still obsessing over it! i'm going to be repurchasing this for sure!!
this has been my go-to foundation (it's not really a foundation but that's what i wear it as lol) for months now! i love it because it's not heavy but it's buildable! i apply it with my hands lately and i've been loving it!
i recently started using this concealer again and i've re fallen in love with it! with this, a little goes a looong way. i start out by blending it with my fingers and then i finish it off with my damp beauty blender.
too faced mascara || it cosmetics brow pencil || lancome primer
ok if you haven't tried out this mascara combo yet, you MUST. i'm telling you, this primer is a GAME CHANGER. it makes a huge difference when applying mascara. it will work with just about any mascara but this one is my favorite to use with it! be sure to really LAYER them on. i'm allll about layering with these products.
laura mercier powder || it cosmetics bye bye redness
next i bring this product in case i have a breakout that i need to coverup. this product is great for covering up redness. again, a little goes a LONG way. you only need a tiny bit of this!
you guys know i've been using this powder for a while and i still really love it. i go back and forth between this one and the hourglass one!
vita liberata body blur lotion
ok this is a new product for me and i have fallen in loooove with it! i am bringing this with me on this trip because i have a few photos to take for a few campaigns i have coming up. i am definitely not at my tannest right now so any extra color can help! this stuff is like MAGIC.
this is my favorite go to blush & bronzer combination right now! i love them both and they wear really well together!
these are my everyday brushes that i will be bringing with me! i will link them all below for you! :-)
brushes:
drunk elephant virgin marula facial oil
love this facial oil. i shared on my instagram stories recently that i've been struggling with eczema under my eyes. some of you recommended i use a facial oil to help with that. i've been using this one and it's been wrokign really well!
this is HANDS DOWN my favorite lip product ever. this is super natural looking but it brings some color to your lips. it's also super moisturizing. i swear by this product!
i keep my face, hair, etc. products in another case! here is some of that stuff that i'll be bringing with me:
thanks for reading!
xo, lauren
